The paper analyzes artifacts originating in buildings of an elongated form with posts attributed to the Pomeranian culture at the Pribrezhnoe settlement in the context of their links to the Globular Amphorae culture. It identifies main subgroups of ceramic assemblages from two stages of the protophase of the Pomeranian culture. Materials whose provenance can supposedly be linked to the Globular Amphorae culture are examined in detail. The paper highlights presence of two more components ascribed to the Zedmar Neolithic culture and the Funnel Beaker culture, focusing on the fact that during the second stage of the protophase the protocorded ware component represented by various corded decorations, particular varieties of goblets and amphorae and mediumsized vessels became more extensive. The conclusions emphasize clear involvement of the Globular Amphorae population in development of the Pomeranian culture. However, as the study demonstrates, this involvement was not strong enough to argue that the amphorae component predominated everywhere.
