Cultural-morphological and biochemical features of streptococcus, isolated from various animals

Бесплатный доступ

In the study the cultural-morphological and biochemical features of the strains isolated from various animals were explored. Experimental strains in serum environment are not produced the gas, hydrogen sulphide, indole, are catalase-negative, positively Gram-stained in smears, are placed in the form of diplococci and short chains. Isolated strains are good fermenters of galactose, maltose, and mannitol. Two strains ferment the inulin. As the research result of cultural-morphological and biochemical characteristics, the cultures isolated from various animals have been identified as Streptococcus.
