Cultural and philosophical analysis of the concept of spirituality

The research discusses the phenomenon of spirituality at various stages of cultural thought development. It is relevant to study spirituality in the context of modern globalization processes, which makes it possible to understand the place and role of humans in the cultural space. The new thinking of humans in the globalizing era not only made the discourse about spirituality relevant but also allowed us to consider this phenomenon from a variety of perspectives by treating it as one of the basic problems of the transforming world. The no-velty approach consists in the statement that the individual’s spirituality is conditioned by the development level of the social consciousness of his social group. The author takes the view that spirit is a will from a perspective of its ontological foundations (V.S. Soloviev), perhaps it is not categorically identical to the good compared to Soloviev’s one, but it is regarded as the good as the power of a becoming human being. The quality of the fulfillment of human spirit and spirituality is determined by the nature of his ideas and feelings.
