Cultural anthropological nature of «an idea of university»: tradition andpresent day circumstances of a person identification

The author argues the point of view regarding «An Idea of University» that is closely connected with philosophical doctrine about a human being. The emergence of a new cultural anthropological type, that was formed due to lack of cultural dominant and need to respond to changes in environment, provided a new nature of «An Idea of University», i.e. its goal to form person’s ability to self-organize and self-determine, ability to generate and construct knowledge.
