Cultural and educational tourism: problems and development prospects in the regions (on the example of the Sverdlovsk Region)

The paper analyzed the scientific publications of domestic and foreign authors. The study proved that cultural and educational tourism not only reveals the potential of the regions, but also increases their recognition. The authors presented an analysis and gave a reasonable assessment of the tourist flow in the regions of the Ural Federal District (Ural Federal District) (using the example of the Sverdlovsk Region). In the process of the study, the authors made calculations and presented the results of the average assessment of visitors to museums in the regions of the Ural Federal District, affecting the development of cultural and educational tourism. As a result, based on the data obtained from the study, the authors identified existing problems, developed and substantiated measures for the successful development of cultural and educational tourism in the regions.
