Cultural heritage of the Arctic region in inclusive exhibition projects

The article discusses the results of the tactile bas-relief project "Touch the Arctic"1, implemented by Murmansk Arctic University in 2023–2024 with the support of the V. Potanin Charitable Foundation and the experience of organizing inclusive exhibitions in Russian museums. The project is dedicated to updating the historical and cultural heritage of the Arctic region and creating an accessible environment for blind and visually impaired people. As part of the project, a series of tactile bas-reliefs were created, telling about the history of the Russian Arctic. Working with historical and cultural sources allowed us to identify the most important subjects and personalities and present the path of development of the Arctic in emotionally saturated images.
