Cultural heritage: problems of development and use in the context of modern state cultural policy

In the article the main orientations of the state cultural policy aimed at rational use and development of cultural heritage objects, as well as possible ways of implementing these landmarks are reflected. It was noted that priority in the development of cultural heritage should be given to the national tasks associated with the development of the individual, society and its groups and the state as a whole. The solution of these problems becomes possible through deep work on the popularization of the cultural heritage by means of television, publications in printed and networked media. The importance of using the resources of cultural heritage in educational activities and in enlightenment is underlined. The directions of activity connected with the development and use of the resources of the cultural heritage of the peoples of the Russian Federation for the purpose of establishing and supporting international relations in the field of culture are listed. Attention is also paid to the peculiarities of the development and use of cultural heritage resources for the purpose of branding the territories.
