Cultural codes of the human head in paintings and sculptures: theoretical and methodological foundations of reconstruction

The article argues addressing the data of fine arts, first of all, painting and sculpture, in the research of cultural codes of the human head (both of this concept directly and its various parts most informative semiotically). The author discusses the most relevant methodological approach to the problem field.
