The article suggests that two major trends: the Buddhist religious culture and the pre-Buddhist religious rites are characteristic of the autochthonous inhabitants of Central and East Asia, mostly Tibetan-speakers and Mongolian-speakers. While analyzing many aspects of ethnic specifics of the Mongolian people, the author concludes that the Mongolian metaethnic community (Hamag Mongol - All the Mongols) could rather organically apprehend the Buddhist theory and practice. Moreover, the evolution of religious culture of the Mongolian people fixes that the phenomenon of adaptation of the Buddhism by the Mongolsphere has changed in many respects their social potentialities, political tendencies and mental parameters. The author also reconsiders the chronological framework of adaptation of the Buddhist theory and practice by the Mongolian people.
