Cultural tourism and image of town in the creative industry

This paper examines the image of the town in the tourism industry and in the context of Samarkandiana project sites. The Samarkandiana project is a vivid example of the creative practice of the cultural tourism industry. Through the representation of Samarkand in the world cultural space, the image of the ancient town in the modern tourism industry is revealed. The model of this cultural practice can be a model for the creative socio-cultural practice of other cities, where the dialogue of cultures is an effective strategy for intercultural interaction.
