Comment on phenomena of cultural value as bridging cultural gap

The present article discusses some aspects of bridging cultural gap through acquiring knowledge. Cultural distance does not make understanding easier. On the opposite, it creates obstacles to understanding which hamper the reader’s ability to interpret a high-quality literary text.
