Culturological practice as a way for preschoolers to accept the cultural and historical heritage of their native land

The interdependence of the concepts of “education” and “culture”, the influence of the cultural process on the upbringing of preschool children is revealed. The problem field of the study includes the axiological meanings of education, reflecting the need of society to preserve and enhance culture as a prerequisite and result of educational activities. Particular attention is paid to introducing preschool children to moral values based on the cultural traditions of the peoples of Russia, intergenerational connections, and the readiness to accept the cultural and historical heritage of their native land. Cultural studies is considered in the context of activity and sociocultural approaches. The essence of cultural practice as a co-existential activity of a community of children and adults in a preschool educational organization is substantiated. A model for constructing cultural studies practice is presented, principles, goals, objectives, planned results, key stages, content and methods of organizing educational activities, aspects of forming the readiness of preschool children to accept the cultural and historical heritage of their native land are highlighted.
