The barrow of Andron culture as the architectural object (basing on the material of Pogorelka-2 burial ground)

This publication contains information on research of embankments of Bronze Age Andronovo (Fedorovo) barrows developed in Barabinsk forest steppe based on materials from the Pogorelka-2 site. Information was obtained for the construction of architectural structures gravestones. In particular, fragments of the oval building blocks, the so-called «Valki» and very dense soil layers, clear separation of space around the central ritual burials by four elongated trenches or pits, and the traces of the use of fire were educed.
