Classifying characteristics of violation of rules of trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances

The article considers the problems of interpretation of characteristics toughening the punishment for violation of rules of trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. Based on the scientific literature and studies of law enforcement practice the authors define such classifying characteristics of a crime provided for in part 2 Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation as "mercenary motives", "bodily injury by recklessness"and "other heavy consequences".
