The qualification of the sale of narcotic drugs: A single ongoing crime or a set of crimes?

The article discusses the methods of committing crimes related to drug trafficking. The review of judicial practice in cases of crimes related to illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues is analyzed. When forming criminal legislation in Russia, a unified approach is needed to properly qualify the sale of narcotic drugs. This leads to the emergence of certain practical and doctrinal issues, some of which have not been resolved so far. The relevance of the chosen research topic is also enhanced due to the need to distinguish between a single ongoing crime or a set of crimes related to drug trafficking.
