Lactic acidosis in patients with hematological malignancies: etiology, pathogenesis and therapy

Lactic acidosis is a common complication in oncohematological diseases. Currently described are several types of lactic acidosis, depending on the etiological mechanism of its development. The article discusses the main types of lactic acidosis in hematologic malignancies, pathophysiological mechanisms of onset and therapy of this condition. Clinical cases are presented illustrating typical manifestations of lactic acidosis in oncohematology.
