Therapeutic and preventive measures when mastitis of pigs in Tatmit Agro LLC

The results of the work done show that in TATMIT Agro LLC, the incidence of mastitis in sows during the year averages 4.9 %, and the main cause is mammary gland injuries caused by piglets during the suckling period, against the background of inadequate feeding of animals and disturbance of the microclimate in the boxes. In the treatment of sows with mastitis, intramuscular injections of Amoxoil Retard, Uteroton and Flunex turned out to be the most effective. The most effective method of preventing mastitis in pigs was the use of vetrimoxin, flunex and uteroton. In the chronic course of mastitis, the treatment of sows is not effective.
