Treatment of patients with multiple fractures of lower limb bones using the method of transosseous osteosynthesis according to Llizarov

The work demonstrates the high priority of treatment of patients with multiple fractures of lower limbs. The authors give a clinical-and-statistical characteristic of 284 patients with multiple fractures of lower limbs treated by the method of transosseous osteosynthesis according to Ilizarov. The analysis of long-term anatomical-and-functional results of treatment is made. Osteosynthesis according to llizarov allows to perform surgeries of all the segments on the day of admission.
