Treatment of pyo-destructive lesions of the lower extremities in patients with diabetes milletus

The study provides analysis of treating 410 patients with diabetes mellitus having pyo-destructive lesions of the lower extremities. The therapeutic strategy included: 1) surgical sanation of the suppurative focus; 2) compensation of carbohydrate metabolism; 3) goal-oriented antibacterial therapy; 4) desaggregate and anticoagulant therapy; 5) neuropathy therapy; 6) control of ischemic events; 7) extracorporal hemo-correction and ozonotherapy.
