Treatment of congenital clubfoot in children using a method of traction devices

Treatment of congenital clubfoot is a problem of high priority in orthopaedics. Complexity and variety of clinical manifestations, poor level of the pathology knowledge, treatment difficulties, high incidence of complications and recurrences classify this pathology as one of incurable diseases, thereby causing social and medical significance of the problem. The work is based on treatment of 120 patients - children of early age with congenital clubfoot in outpatient conditions using a new method of traction devices. Positive results were obtained in all the patients: good - in 87,2%, fair - in 12,8%.
