Lexical means of creating an enemy image in modern media

The article is devoted to the study and analysis of lexical means that reconstruct the image of the enemy in modern media. The purpose of the article is to identify the key evaluative characteristics of the enemy image and ways of their verbal objectification. The analysis is carried out in a tideway of the cognitive-discursive approach based on the provisions of classical semantics. The image of the enemy is interpreted as an evaluative construct, mostly negatively labeled. Verbalizers of evaluation are negatively marked ideologemes and related concepts, evaluative vocabulary, metaphors.
