Lexical and phraseological representation of concept theater in Russian and English linguistic cultures

The summary: This article discusses the content of the concept of "theater" in the minds of native speakers of Russian and English languages. Allocated baseline and peripheral seme token "theater" in Russian and in English, as well as synonyms series that represent seme of this lexeme. The analysis of the inner form of lexical items that reveal the essence of the concept, as well as phraseological units within the structure of the concept of "theater" is done.
