Lexical and grammatical transformations when translating the names of English-language movies into Russian

The article reveals the relevance and specifics of the translation of the names of English and American films that have appeared in the Russian box office over the past 20 years. The names of English-language feature films and their translation into Russian are analyzed to establish the correspondence between their name and content, the main methods and strategies of translation and the appropriateness of the translator’s choice of a particular technique or method to achieve an adequate translation.
