Lexical and stylistic potential of repetition (based on the material of English-language media)

The article examines various types of repetition in linguistics and their functions in analytical and advertising texts of English-language media. Stylistic, functional, and syntactic classifications of repetitions are analyzed, as well as the features of their use in news journalism and advertising discourse. Examples from English-language media are provided to demonstrate how repetitions structure argumentation, enhance rhetorical effect, give the text logical clarity and expressiveness, and also serve as a mechanism for influencing the audience through memorability, emotional saturation, and the formation of sustainable behavioral strategies.
