Forest as the factor of environment optimization (on the example of Middle Ural)

Are considered runoff-regulating properties of wood drainage areas and their communication with pollutant deposition. Paleocrystic data on snow accumulation, snow melting and pollutant conservation in forests of different age and a compound, on wood soils water infiltration in wood biogeocenoses of Middle Ural are cited.
