Personal safety of police officers in the process of operational service activities

This article discusses problematic issues of ensuring the personal safety of law enforcement officers in the process of performing operational and official tasks. The fulfillment of the duties assigned to police officers often leads to the need for the use of physical force, special means and firearms. As a result, there are significant risks to the life and health of law enforcement entities. In the course of the research, a sociological survey, an analysis of specialized literature, and methods of mathematical statistics were conducted. The analysis of the data obtained was carried out and conclusions were drawn.
