The article deals with the main approaches to the understanding of mental self-adjustment, its individual peculiarities, to the styles of self-adjustment in the professional activity. The special attention is paid to the study of teachers' emotional well-being. The issue is devoted to the results of the experimental research of teachers' emotional state self-adjustment in correlation with personal peculiarities. The correspondence between self-adjustment individual peculiarities and personal specific features is revealed. Such qualities as steadiness, emotional stability, sociability are connected with planning, programming and simulation in the system of professional pedagogical self-adjustment.
