The paper presents a study of the phenomenon of seeking medical care and the factors that contribute to and hinder its implementation. The theoretical analysis of personal, value and self-regulating features as predictors of seeking medical care. Within the framework of the study, the sexual characteristics of the individual, openness to experience and goodwill are considered as predictors of medical care, and the severity of externality and internality in relation to treatment as factors hindering access to medical organizations.
