Private household plots in the Ulyanovsk oblast during the period of agrarian reforms of the 1990s

An important phenomenon of rural reality during the period of agrarian reforms at the end of the twentieth century was the stable growth of private household plots. This makes it possible to distinguish private household plots into a special organizational and legal form. The author reveals the main directions of the development of private household plots at the initial stage of the agrarian reforms of the 1990s, analyzes the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of their growth, examines the indicators of their crop and livestock production, including in comparison with neighboring regions.
