Liquidation of defects in ribbed floor slabs and coverings

The article presents design solutions for prefabricated reinforced concrete ribbed floor slabs and coatings for mass use, and also considers the technological features of manufacturing these structures. The most common defects of ribbed plates are analyzed, the causes of occurrence are described and recommendations for their elimination are given. A classification of measures to restore and/or improve the design performance of defective slabs has been developed. A list of necessary measures to restore the bearing capacity and/or strengthen the slabs, depending on the category of their technical condition, is given.
