Summer children's camp is a social environment that has intense influence on its participants due to the "imposition" beyond the ordinary life including daily collective rituals. The article represents the results of the sociological research in the "Integral" summer children's camp; blanket questionnaire survey was the research method; children and teenagers who campered in summer of 2013 were the research subject. The summer camp was considered in the context of I. Hoffman's ideas about total social institutes. The author analyzed the information on formal and informal rituals of everyday life in summer camp (lining up, marching, evening events, disco). Thus, children's summer camp is the filter effectively cutting-off the misbehavior thereby checking the loyalty to cultural patterns of certain period.
