The work is devoted to comparison of the classical and quantum approaches, viz. description of a linear oscillator in the electromagnetic radiation field on the example of the dependence of the c-function of the coordinate and the coordinate operator on time. The correspondence of these approaches is demonstrated and the condition of this correspondence is found.
