Linguo-didactic environment to form professional competency of non-language students in the process of training to technical translation

The article considers some issues concerning theoretical and methodological comprehension of foreign languages teaching at non-language higher educational institutions. By the example of a course in Technical Translation, the constituents of the foreign professional competence are analyzed; the instructional approaches to teaching this course are highlighted.
