Lingvo-cognitive game as the means of manipulative programming (on the material of prefixes inter- and trans-)

Бесплатный доступ

A number of lexical complexes with prefixes interand transreveal a hidden manipulative bias, which aims at forming new semantic spheres, similar to those based on morpho-semes ‘between’ and ‘across / through’, with the former’s further transformation into a notion of a certain space existing without and beyond any stable boundaries, which in ordinary perception segregate separate spheres of human existence (national and gender, in particular). This artificially constructed space is implied as bearing some significance, while in reality it can be identified with nothingness whose real meaning falls beyond the scope of recipients’ perception, who, in their turn, focus their attention on the ever-attractive, though produced by manipulation, phenomenon of transcending the boundaries of the ordinary and commonplace, unaware of how dangerous this transcendentation may in reality be.
