Linguoculturological aspects of the analysis of somatic concepts: on the issue of reconstructing the bodily code of Russian culture

The appeal to the category of cultural code is methodologically conditioned by the study of the essential foundations of a particular cultural system. The cultural code is a set of key attitudes, concepts, values, and norms in the mentality of a certain human community. In the process of perceiving the surrounding reality, it allows you to move from meanings to senses (elements of the language of culture). The reconstruction of cultural codes is possible based on the material of objectified results of human activity, among which a special place belongs to the natural language, which acts as the primary sign system. The article presents the experience of analyzing some so-matisms based on the material of the Russian phraseological fund. The revealed content of cultural codes confirms the right of the body code to be considered one of the oldest, because the human body is its only original, natural reality, through the prism of which the primary perception and comprehension of the surrounding reality took place.
