Linguistic-cultural approach in foreign language teaching

The article discusses the features of linguistic-cultural approach in foreign language teaching. The task of a teacher is to interest the student in the study of foreign language, to acquaint him with the culture and history of the country of the target language. In our days linguistic-cultural approach to teaching of foreign language is in a great demand, because the language is most fully absorbed into the cultural background. The implementation of linguistic-cultural approach in the foreign language classes stimulates students to interest of foreign languages, helps to broaden their horizons and motivates for further learning.
