Dugarov in extracurricular reading lessons (possibilities of heuristic approach)

The article reviews heuristic teaching as one of the new educational methods in school. The method developed by A.V. Khutorskoy allows to find optimal ways for working on literature lessons, and also for creating a system of extracurricular reading. On the material of lyrics by the national Buryat poet B. Dugarov the author shows possibilities of heuristic approach in learning lyrics during school lessons of extracurricular reading. The author offers various options of heuristic educational situation which allows to develop the technology of students activity where educational results are not defined, but are obtained after opening new knowledge and creating new educational product. In order to create such a product, during a lesson on B. Dugarov's lyrics students get into the the heuristic educational situation "Nomadic culture and city space: interaction in poet's lyrics", and work with the 'memory map' based on thinking visualization and alternative recording. Students compile representations, meanings and associations: etimological analysis, search for anologies in other areas, understanding general meaning, creating conception, synthesis of new knowledges. Working with notions 'nomadic and city space', 'nomad and citizen', 'nature and civilization', students write down their thoughts, feelings and associations or build up visual images, and as a result, obtain mental map which contains new decision of a problem of heuristic educational situation.
