The article describes the activities of Boris Ivanovich Chernykh. The study suggests that the writer and literary critic, editor and compiler of an anthology, initiator of the creation of the Russian Union of Writers and organizer of spiritual poetry Days and Solzhenitsyn’s Days had an important impact on the dynamics of the literary process of the Amur region in one of the most difficult periods of its development.
