The article is devoted to the study of literary works as objects of intellectual property, highlighting their protection in accordance with Russian legislation. The main focus is on copyrights, their intangible nature and the criteria by which works are recognized as objects of copyright. The author analyzes the creative nature of literary works, their diversity and the specifics of legal protection.
