The literary versions of the parable about prodigal son in the novels «Nowhere» by N.S. Leskov and «Precipice» by I.A. Goncharov

The materials of this article are part of research of poetic texts by different authors with the purpose of identifying the typical phenomena in Russian classical literature in their genesis and typological connections. Apart from the mentioned literary pieces, in the context of the given problem we analyze the novel by F.M. Dostoevsky «The Humiliated and Insulted» as a transition variant of the transformed traditional biblical story.
