Lithogenetic features of rocks containing productive oil deposits in the lower carboniferous terrigenous strata

Conducted comprehensive studies on lithogenetic characteristics of clastic sedimentary petroleum reservoirs and enclosing rocks, which allowed assessing the stability of rock when drilling exploration and production wells (mineral composition, structural-textural features, lithogenetic change, etc.). The findings about membership of the studied rocks to the products of early and late mezocatagenesis are presented.
