The article examines the relevance of the client-oriented approach to the company's activities. The concept of customer orientation as a tool for the formation of competitive advantages of an enterprise in the long term is defined. The process of implementing a client-oriented business strategy in the company's activities has been developed, which consists of the appropriate stages. A methodology for the formation of customer orientation of the company's personnel is proposed. To increase the level of customer orientation of the company's staff, it is proposed to filter it according to certain criteria and the degree of coincidence of values, interests and needs of the company and employees.
