Logistics as a national competitive advantage of Russia

The article substantiates the conceptual idea of ensuring a competitive advantage of Russia on the basis of applying logistics in the implementation of transit potential in the market of transport and logistics services, taking into account its complementarily to the traditional segments of the world market presence. In the context of a common understanding of the transit potential as a component of the infrastructure potential, its investment and service aspects are highlighted, which, with the activation of appropriate measures, can ensure Russia's integration into the global transport and logistics system. Project proposals are being developed on the development of a regional network of terminal and logistics centers and the supplying railway infrastructure, with their subsequent transformation into transport and logistics multimodal hubs operating with the use of information technologies of logistic coordination.
