Logo rhythmic games are games aimed at developing motor skills and pronunciation. They include music, motor and game classes. Logo rhythm classes are present in any pedagogical activity in preschool institutions, as well as in schools. The number of children with various speech disorders is growing every year. This is the result of insufficient attention on the part of parents, the replacement of live communication with a child by television, an increase in the frequency of common diseases of children, poor ecology, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to look for new, more effective and interesting forms of speech correction for children. Logo rhythm is a system of exercises, tasks, games based on a combination of music, movement, words, aimed at solving correctional, educational and health problems. Logo rhythmic exercises include health-saving technologies, which not only have a beneficial effect on the entire body of the child, but also contribute to the most effective increase in the level of sound pronunciation, mastery of the word structure, expansion of the vocabulary of preschool children. Thanks to logo rhythmic exercises, the child’s health is strengthened: as a result, his body undergoes a restructuring of various systems, for example, cardiovascular, respiratory, and speech-motor. Motor and sensory functions, a sense of balance, posture, gait, grace of movement develop.
The goal of logo rhythmic classes is to overcome speech, motor, motor, phonemic disorders by developing, educating and correcting the motor sphere in combination with word and music. The relationship of these components can be diverse, with the predominance of one of them. Logo rhythm can be used as an independent method of speech therapy work or as part of a lesson. In the classes, the basic pedagogical principles are observed - consistency, gradual complication and repeatability of the material, the rhythmic structure of the word is worked out, and a clear pronunciation of sounds accessible by age, the children's dictionary is enriched. Musical and rhythmic exercises are aimed at training higher mental functions, including different aspects of attention, memory, observation, inhibitory reactions, and coordination of movement. A special place is occupied by exercises that regulate muscle tone. The purpose of this type of exercise is to eliminate tension, stiffness, foster freedom of action, or, conversely, increase muscle tone -depending on the condition of the child. In the scientific literature, the connection between the development of movements and the formation of pronunciation is proved. The looseness and ease acquired by children during rhythmic movements of the body have a positive effect on the motor properties of speech organs. For the development of creative potential, effective correction of diverse speech disorders in children with speech disorders, you can use a huge number of exercises, games and trainings that contribute to the development of coherent speech of children.
Much attention should be paid to speech-motor games and exercises, which include respiratory-articulation training, game massage and finger gymnastics, which involves the development of coordination and regulatory functions of speech and movement. They develop the respiratory system, all types of motor skills, establish associations between expressive movements and characters of fairy tales, poems, dramatizations. Games and game exercises that take place during respiratory-articulation training are the basis for the formation of nonspeech and speech breathing, the articulation base of sounds. Respiratory articulation training is conducted first in isolation, then is included in role-playing situations. The exercises are performed on an account, with musical accompaniment, relying on the conductor's gesture and the teacher’s sample. Gaming massage helps to relieve excessive muscle tone, fatigue, mental tension, it includes games and game exercises only for arms and hands using various objects that contribute to the development of coordination of speech and movements, orientation in space, regulation of muscle tone.
The basis for the development of fine motor skills and coordination of movements of the hands and fingers with speech is finger gymnastics. Finger games and exercises stimulate the development of the articulatory component of speech, develop imagination, turn the learning process into an exciting game. For the development of prosodic components of speech, speech games and role verses are of great importance: they produce rhythm, melody, intonation expressiveness, in addition, they have a beneficial effect on the state of verbal memory and memorization productivity. The combination of rhythmic, expressive speech with movement contributes to the concretization of auditory images, the formation of coherent speech.
You can also use exercises for voicing fairy tales when the teacher reads the text, and the children accompany the story with gestures, onomatopoeia, arranging phrases. To sound fragments of fairy tales, poems, musical instruments are also used, which the teacher chooses in accordance with the content of the works and the nature of the game characters. Great importance is attached to theatrical games in which children act on behalf of the heroes of fairy tales and songs. Speech therapists also pay attention to the development of a sense of rhythm and motor abilities, the basis of which are dance - rhythmic exercises that allow you to freely and beautifully perform movements, tasks and games (including moving ones) that are compatible with music. Logopedic rhythmic use a lot of dance - rhythmic exercises, which include game gymnastics and eurhythmics. Gymnastics allows you to feel and develop certain muscle groups, regulate muscle tone, includes the necessary games and exercises for the development of coordination, spatial orientation, awareness of the scheme of your own body logo rhythmic are motor and rhythmic complexes performed with specially selected music. Each dancerhythmic composition has a target orientation, plot character and completeness. In dance compositions, the characteristic of a musical work is conveyed using hand movements, plastic gestures and expressive poses. When performing rhythmic complexes, hand gestures and body movements are used, accompanied by sound (claps, slaps, finger clicks, drowning).Emotional-volitional training, which includes games and game exercises aimed at non-verbal and verbal expression of basic emotions (joy, sadness, surprise, fear, anger, interest, grief, calmness), is of great importance for the development of coherent speech in older preschool children. Emotional-volitional training is aimed primarily at developing sensitive abilities (empathy, communication skills) and positive self-esteem by involving the child in the general game activity. The achievement of emotional emancipation, openness occurs through an emotional warm-up. Studies on the development of facial expressions, pantomimics, vocal facial expressions supplement the experience of expressive response.
Creative training contributes to the development of fluency, flexibility and originality of thinking, the ability to plan and organize their activities, the transition from visual-effective to visual-figurative thinking, the formation of constructive ideas. Based on musical impressions, children create plastic, graphic and verbal images. Relaxation exercises relieve muscle tension and allow you to control destructive emotions and actions, master the skills of self-regulation. In parallel, the communicative and regulatory functions of speech are developing.
