The article examines local factors that influence the mechanism of personnel management in an international company. The main processes of personnel management of the organization and their components at the local and international level are also presented. A comparison of human resource management processes at the local and international levels is analyzed. The personnel management mechanism at the local and international levels has a number of similarities and differences. When forming a human resource management mechanism, it is necessary to examine the key characteristics and components of local human resource management practices, then examine international human resource management practices, identify their similarities and differences, and analyze what opportunities and risks a company may have when focusing its human resource management practices on one of the levels: local or international, all this is discussed in this article.
