The article is devoted to social advertising in the USSR which had a large volume and was designed to promote the ideas of communism and socialism and inspire their meaning to the citizens of the country. The government was authoritarian/totalitarian and completely controlled all spheres of life of citizens, therefore it could take full control over the consciousness of residents and inspire them with those ideas that are beneficial for the prosperity of the country.
