Accelerated radiotherapy for inoperable gastric cancer

Radiation therapy (RT) was provided to 195 patients with inoperable gastric cancer (IB-IV (M0): 150 patients were irradiated by conventional RT (CRT) and 45 - by accelerated RT (ART). Daily dose in CRT was 2 Gy, total dose - 50-70 Gy. Daily dose in ART group was 1,3 Gy twice per day, total dose - 63-66Gy. Three-year survival rate was 48 (32 %) in patients received CRT and 18 (40 %) in ART group
