Точная оценка почечной функции имеет решающее значение для адекватного дозирования медикаментов. Наиболее информативным маркером, отражающим функциональное состояние почек, является скорость клу-бочковой фильтрации (СКФ). Определение клиренса инулина — наиболее точный способ оценки СКФ у детей и взрослых. Вместе с тем метод является инвазивным, громоздким, детям младшего возраста требуется установка мочевого катетера. Методики радиоизотопной оценки СКФ могут решить эту проблему, однако все широко используемые радиоизотопы имеют способность к незначительному связыванию с белками плазмы, что приводит к занижению реальных значений
