The paper discusses the magic circle in the life of the Sakha people which unifies and harmonizes people and nature in the mythological and ritualistic practice, resulting in the continuation of life on the mid-land. Magic circle covers all developed space starting from the place of residence with its household buildings and ending with border forests and mountains behind which lies a mysterious and dangerous world of spirits of ancestors and nature. The research traces the conceptual significance of solar and lunar cults in profane (daily) and sacred (ceremonial) facets of the traditional life of the Sakha people. The philosophical wisdom of ancestors lies in the continuity of the life cycle where sacred and profane facets emerge. Round dances as ritual acts were aimed at erasing the boundaries between humans and guardian spirits. Studying all the nuances of the symbolic codes of Sakha traditional culture can help find the answers to the problems of the ethnic and cultural genesis of related Turkic and Mongolian peoples.
