This article discusses some problems of the current stage of development of informatization of education from the standpoint of the existing theories and educational practices. It proves the need for the implementation of the master's program for teaching staff in the area of informatization of education. The authors offer the model of the master's program «Informatization of education», aimed at the integration of technic-technological and organizational-methodic components of future masters' teaching activity who also will become the organizers of informatization at an educational institution.
